ABOUT THE TEAM

The Shannon Leahy Events team is full of designers, stylists, listmakers, transportation specialists and concierges.  With a varied and diverse background, our team has worked in restaurants, floral design, finance, interior design and more.  

 

Elise Everett

As our Lead Planner, Elise is in charge of all wedding planning and coordination from creating flawless timelines and managing budgets to drafting invitation text and consulting at tastings.  Elise is an Emory graduate with a Special Event and Meeting Management degree from NYU.  Before coming to Shannon Leahy Events, Elise was an Account Manager at Entire Productions, an event entertainment booking agency as well as a wedding planner and site coordinator for the De Young and the Legion of Honor.  

 

Kyla Childress
Kyla is our associate designer who is an expert in "making things pretty". Kyla is the queen of site visits, measuring spaces and creating layouts.  Behind the scenes she might be picking out pillows for lounge furniture one day and managing the load-in on-site the next all while helping design the most beautiful events.  Kyla grew up in the floral industry, has a degree in Interior Design and a background in high-end floral and event design from Austin, Texas.

 

Marianne Healow
Marianne is our Gal Friday in the studio helping out with everything from keeping the emergency kit up to snuff to creating hotel welcome bags and researching the best resource for handspun, organic cotton candy.  Marianne grew up at her mother's side in a florist shop and was a restaurant event manager prior to coming to Shannon Leahy Events.
